Choices and Rights

This Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) course focuses on empowering individuals through exercising choice, being active participants in their own life and remaining in control of their life’s direction.

Core Assurances
Duration: Two (2) Hours
Cost: $20 per person

Core Assurances are incorporated into the Medicaid Waiver Services Agreement (MWSA) by reference. It specifies Administrative and Programmatic requirements. Non-compliance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Core Assurances may result in termination of the MWSA. The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) strongly recommends that providers review these tools to ensure they understand and adhere to all standards.
